I had my national TV debut last week, offering expert advice to respected hotelier and entrepreneur Alex Polizzi. After being approached by the production company for the channel 5 television programme, The Hotel Inspector Returns I was asked to contribute to the show.

As a wedding industry expert, I was asked to visit the Meuden Country House Hotel near Falmouth to review its wedding offer and give my advice and constructive feedback.

The episode saw Alex Polizzi, whose family owns the Tresanton Hotel across the water in St Mawes, re-visit the Meudon to see if they had taken on board the tips she gave them during her original visit in 2012, which was filmed for the ninth series of the show.

I was delighted to be approached by Alex and her team to work on the programme, and I hope that the advice I gave to the hotel will really make a difference and have a positive impact on the future of the business.
